Marshall's Story

Marshall Smith is a 12-year-old boy in sixth grade at Lakeview elementary school in Gillette, Wyoming. He is an active, strong, robust future NFL star! In August 2022, he suffered a tibial spine fracture of the right knee.

This is the equivalent of an ACL tear in young children usually between the ages of 8 to 14.

Dr. Scott Sorenson has expert fellowship training in the surgical management of pediatric tibial spine fractures and promptly performed surgery on Marshall’s knee. Marshall then spent six months going through rigorous and very specialized physical therapy training with Shelby Kline at Physical Therapy of Wyoming. Marshall has now made a full and complete recovery and is ready to get back to the football field.
